I'm a real Korean now

Today is Friday morning, and I have a CELL PHONE and INTERNET at my house now!!!! I am really excited about this. Skype, torrents, email... I download some Uriah Heep and Carcass last night and it feels really good.

I also found out that RIGHT next to my apartment building there is a restaurant that serves traditional Korean Jeonju style bi bim bap. If you are wondering what Jeonju is, go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeonju.

Yesterday, my co-teacher Mr. Park had worked out with the Internet company that they would come to my house at 4:30. At 4:30 we arrived at my place, and called the internet company and they said 5:30 (horrible memories of dealing with Comcast back at home are flooding into my mind at this time), so Mr. Park said "let's go find a restaurant that serves bi bim bap", so we get into his car and he turn onto the street, and the first place we see he says excitedly, "Oh right here they have bi bim bap!" So he park the car about 50 feet from my house, and go inside and have a wonderful meal. Bi bim bap in stone pots that keep it very hot, even now my tongue is still a little burned from eating it too quickly, and small plates of lotus roots and crunchy other goodness and sweet soup and really good kimchi. I would like to eat there every day please. And it is only 5000 won.

They told me today that I am going to be part of a "teacher training course" every Friday. I don't know what that is going to entail, but I am going to go do it today. Be flexible!!!
