I mean, really, interesting things are always happening to me, because I'm cool and not Korean, living in Korea. So I went down to the cafeteria at lunch, got my awesome portion of seaweed and rice and bean curd soup because they know not to serve me meat by now. I get my wonderful cafeteria food on my wonderful cafeteria platter and sit down with the other teachers. What I don't realize is that I'm sitting at the end of a large group of women, and the guy that I had walked down to lunch with had passed me, and sat down at the other end of the table, with all of the other men. I laughed out loud and pointed this out to one of my co-teachers who knows English, and she said that they didn't do it on purpose, that it was unconscious. I thought "A ha!" and ate my lunch with all of the females.
